Enrollment Reporting Data Upload (3.5 minutes)
Learn how to securely upload your Advanced Registration, DegreeVerify and Enrollment files.
Larger files may take up to an hour to upload. Once the file is in the In-Progress section, you can leave the page and return to check the status at a later time. This will not disrupt file uploads in progress.
You will not receive email status updates on the file upload progress. Instead, check the upload activity log for the file status.
This session is intended for post-secondary institutions active with Enrollment Reporting or DegreeVerify.

Uploading your Enrollment reporting, Advanced registration, and Degree Verify files can be done in a few simple steps from within the Data Reporting Dashboard. On the Data Reporting dashboard, select Data Upload from the left-hand menu. If you do not have the Data Upload role, an unauthorized user error message displays. Your user administrator must assign the data upload role to you. Data upload also requires you to have a web user ID. To upload files, drag and drop or browse for files. You can securely upload multiple files in one session. There is not a required file naming convention. However, the suggested file naming convention is the 8 digit school code_term academic year_the file number submitted for the academic term_2 letter extension for the service. The two letter extensions are ER for enrollment, DV for DegreeVerify, and AR for advanced registration. For example, Hometown University's 8 digit school code is 00123400 and is reporting the first of term enrollment file for Fall 2025. The file name is 00123400_Fall 2025_1_ER. As the file uploads, the file remains in the In-progress File Upload section until the upload is complete. The page auto refreshes every 30 seconds. You can also manually refresh the page by clicking refresh uploaded files. Formatting and Programming and testing guides are available if you need them. Once processed, the file reflects in the upload activity log. Each file has an artifact ID, file name, file type, upload status, upload date, and user ID of who uploaded the file. Upload successful indicates the file passed a security scan and moved to the data bucket for Clearinghouse system analysis. The file may have format issues or structural errors. The Data Intake team will work with you to resolve this error or fix and re-upload the file on your behalf. An upload failed status indicates the file failed due to network or security issues. Retry the upload after resolving the network or security issue. If the upload fails and you need troubleshooting help, contact us with the artifact ID for assistance.
