Focusing on completing a pending transaction. We will use this request as an example. You can click anywhere on that specific request to move on to the next screen. We have the screen sectioned into request status and request details. Request status provides your school next steps on how to complete the request by clicking manage request. Whereas the request detail shows the information provided by the requestor that will aid you in your research along with the transaction timeline. We suggest reviewing the request details for the student first to determine how you can proceed under the manage request drop down menu. This drop down menu is dynamic so you will see different options depending on request type, if there is a potential match or even if the requestor is looking for a specific degree. In this example you will see the blue call out box. This means the requestor has selected to verify a specific degree and we do not have that record on file but our system has found an alternative degree. There will be times where we do not have a record but the requestor is looking for a specific degree. In that case, you will proceed as normal and select the manage request to provide all available degree or enrollment information. However, in this example, you're presented with the alternative degree and we'll be focusing on providing an additional degree record for the student by clicking update student record. This will lead you to the student record page. Provide all the information on the additional degree. Once you've added the record and click submit, then both the record we already have and the record you just updated will be sent to the requestor. Alternatively, if you have searched your records and the student does not have an additional degree, then you will select manage request and then no additional degree awarded.
