Welcome to the tutorial on error code 1569. the purpose of this demonstration is to explain what error 1569 is and how to resolve it.

Error 1569 is program indicator is not compatible with program info. this occurs when the program indicator field is marked as N for no program but program information is submitted in the corresponding fields to the CLearinghouse. an error 1569 is flagged for you to notify you to review and correct as needed.

From the error list on the error correction platform, select error 1569.

Review the instructions and then select the plus sign located in the far left column to view the details of the student record.

Please review the program information listed in the student details, if accurate change the program indicator to y yes. If the student is no longer enrolled in the program, please update program status. For example, a withdrawn student gets a new status of w and a graduated student gets a status of g.

Don't forget to update the enrollment status effective date and change the program indicator to y.

In cases where the program information should not have been reported, program information located in gray fields as displayed here, exists in the student history and must remain in the record. If the program field is not grayed out then the program information can be deleted from the field. To delete information from afield, either delete or choose select from the drop-down menu. You can leave the program indicator set to N as long as there are no other reported programs on this student record. To submit changes, select the Submit for Validation button located towards the top of the screen.
