Let's review lived names. Although warnings related to lived names can be skipped, we recommend you review the warning codes. 1403 means the warning is related to the lived first name, 1404 is the lived middle name and 1405 is the lived last name. Warning codes 1403, 1404 and 1405 occur when a lived name that was previously reported is blank on an incoming student record. Because the latest record for a student indicates if a lived name is valid or not, these Warnings are presented to confirm that the student has chosen to no longer use a lived name. To make changes, review the students who have warning flags to determine if you want to accept the incoming record with the blank value or if the live name needs to be added. If you determine all the students were incorrectly listed with blank lived name fields, you can correct the warning and apply the previously reported lived names to the student records. To update a single record or when working on another error or warning code in the record, expand the student's record and review the previously reported student data. The live name fields are only editable if there is an error or warning associated with the field. You can opt to provide a different lived name than the last lived name provided. Make any necessary updates and then submit the record for validation. If you opt to not update the student's record with the lived name, the lived name will be removed and you will not be presented with this warning for the student on future submissions. If you have questions on errors or warnings reach out to us.
