Learn how to review the student records the Clearinghouse identified as having a graduated status in our system but are missing from the draft completers list. This tile is critical to review and mark complete within the 50 day Clearinghouse correction period so NSLDS has time to review it and your team has time to address any errors from the adds file that is generated when you click submit. After marking this section as complete and allowing 5 days for processing, your Enrollment Reporting submission data and submission data alternate contacts will be able to see any errors from the adds file submitted to NSLDS. Any errors will need to be updated directly in NSDLS.

For additional resources, see the materials tab. This session is intended for post-secondary institutions active with FVT/GE Reporting.

To update student records not on the completers list, from the build your worksheet page, select the review and update button in the Student Records Missing from Completers list tile. To filter the list of students and work in batches, you can filter the list by SSN, student name, CIP code, credential level or program status effective date range and apply filters. You can also sort the table columns. Review the list of students the Clearinghouse has identified in our system and missing from the completer list that NSLDS provided. By default, the last four digits of a student's SSN is displayed. You can show the full SSN for individual students. Select one or all of the records you want to be reported to NSLDS and select the move to be reported button. Select move to be reported in the popup. Any student not selected won't be reported. You can also select the students you don't want to report and select move to not be

reported. Once you take these steps, the records are added to the respective tabs of to be reported and not to be reported. If you need to change your reporting election for a record, expand the specific row with the student/program combination you want to update and select revert to needs review. Then go to needs review tab and update the reporting election for that record. Review the list of records in the to be reported tab to confirm these are the student records you want to report as completers to NSLDS. At the top of the table, there's the count of student records to be reported. When your school is finished with this section, select mark as complete and confirm you want to mark it as complete. The Clearinghouse will generate and send an adds file to NSLDS with the students and programs you identified to send to NSLDS. The file will include student identifiers, program identifier along with any programs reported to NSLDS in the last SSCR submission regardless of whether it was a roster, error or adds file supplemental. This file will go through NSLDS data validations, which takes roughly 4 to 5 days. If there are any errors to the file, users with Clearinghouse submission data and submission data alternate roles will be able to view this information the same way users currently view student status confirmation reports or SSCRs. Any errors on the file will need to be updated by your institution in NSLDS directly. If you want to see the updated draft completers list that NSLDS has, please wait to request it for 4 to 5 days after marking the section as complete so that any errors on the adds file can be addressed. When the section is marked as complete, the section will become view only and the button on the build your worksheet page will change to review and no more changes can be made to the section.
