Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP): Getting to Know the Dashboards

Man in a suit with his hands on the keyboard of a laptop with data charts hovering over the keyboard.

The Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP) has a variety of dashboards broken up into several sections: general, early momentum metrics, outcomes over time and benchmarking. The PDP is designed so you can have users in different departments perform their own research. Dashboards are generated after postsecondary institutions validate their PDP course and cohort files. This course provides a high level overview of the PDP dashboards. For example use cases, watch our videos in the Postsecondary Data Partnership: Using the Dashboards to Answer Research Questions course.

In this course you will learn:

  • The functionality available on an institution-level dashboard
  • The unique dimensions and filters available for individual dashboards
  • The purpose of each PDP dashboard
  • How to navigate and use an institution-level dashboard
  • How Dimensions and filters impact the data visualizations

These training materials were built in collaboration with the Association for Institutional Research.
