Why might the detail file only provide a partial academic history for a student? Reasons why you would only get a partial academic history for a student in your STCU reports package detail file usually have to do with either FERPA blocks on a student's record or the search date you submitted in your request file. For example, assume a student attended institutions a, b and c. If there is a FERPA block on the student's record at institution B, then the detail file will only display records from institutions A and C. Any academic records that are outside the specified search window will be excluded from the detail file. For more information, please view our other tutorials online.
