Leveraging Postsecondary Data Partnership Dashboards for Effective Benchmarking

The National Student Clearinghouse’s Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP) dashboards shine a light on metrics and subpopulations that are not otherwise visible in federal databases. They also offer the ability to compare student performance at one institution to that of students at the hundreds of other institutions that participate in the PDP. Participants in this session will explore multiple case studies that demonstrate the benchmarking capabilities of the PDP to inform how institutional researchers and others might use benchmarking to better understand student performance and to plan for targeted interventions.
