Better data, better student outcomes. That’s the driving principle behind the Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP). Through PDP, a nationwide effort to simplify and enhance data gathering and reporting, institutions can obtain a fuller picture of student progress and outcomes. This allows institutions to make more informed decisions on how to help students succeed.
A panel of experts will discuss PDP and the benefits available to institutions and their students at the upcoming EDUCAUSE Annual Conference. The session, Answering the Call for Better Student Data, will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17 from 8:30 to 9:15 am.
Topics include the importance of collaboration between IT and institutional research staff for PDP data submission, analysis, and visualizations as well as how PDP supports institutional decision-making for student success. Future PDP technology innovations will also be discussed.
Panelists include:
Michelle Blackwell, Manager of Data Partnerships, National Student Clearinghouse
Eric Godin, Associate Vice President, State Higher Education Executive Officers Association (SHEEO)
Laurie Heacock, Senior Advisor, Data and Analytics, Achieving the Dream (ATD)
