The Riverside County Office of Education has made a commitment to ensuring all students graduate from high school well prepared for college and the work force. Last week, the school district hosted the Clearinghouse for a three-hour workshop geared toward registrars and school counselors on utilizing StudentTracker® for High Schools to ensure postsecondary enrollment and success.

StudentTracker for High Schools is the nation’s most powerful tool for benchmarking how students enroll, persist, and graduate college, and for improving the way schools prepare future students for higher education.

“Our partnership with National Student Clearinghouse is a ‘value-added’ endeavor,” said Gil Compton, director of College and Career Readiness, Education Services, for the Riverside County Office of Education. “The NSC reports empower educational leaders to measure the effectiveness of our academic programs to improve our students’ post-secondary outcomes.”

During the workshop, Clearinghouse staff presented an analysis of Riverside County schools and district level reports, and provided an in depth understanding of the data. StudentTracker for High Schools provides participants with an annual report containing aggregate and detail data, access to updated reports three times a year, and the ability to instantly generate ready-to-share charts and data using data elements to see the changes in student subgroups.

StudentTracker for High School allows users to:

  1. Perform trend analyses on up to eight years of historic graduate records.
  2. Support Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) reporting requirements, including data for private and out-of-state institutions.
  3. Spot enrollment trends for in-/out-of-state, two-/four-year, and private/public colleges.
  4. Develop benchmarking from student-level data as a baseline for longitudinal studies.
