Leveraging Postsecondary Data Partnership Dashboards for Effective Benchmarking (60 minutes)
The National Student Clearinghouse’s Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP) dashboards shine a light on metrics and subpopulations that are not otherwise visible in federal databases. They also offer the ability to compare student performance at one institution to that of students at the hundreds of other institutions that participate in the PDP. Participants in this session will explore multiple case studies that demonstrate the benchmarking capabilities of the PDP to inform how institutional researchers and others might use benchmarking to better understand student performance and to plan for targeted interventions. For postsecondary users active with the PDP.

  • Wednesday, April 23 at 2 PM, ET   REGISTER NOW
Registration closes April 21 or when seating capacity is reached.

Using the PDP to Understand Academic Momentum: Strategies for Timely College Completion (2 hours)
Our students’ ability to earn sufficient credits per academic year is the primary indicator of timely completion. The Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP) dashboards provide institutions with the opportunity to analyze metrics that demonstrate student academic load and credit progression. In this workshop, we use the PDP dashboards to examine early momentum metrics to help institutions understand which student populations are accumulating sufficient credits to graduate on time and which populations would benefit from additional support structures. Participants will also discuss how to share these results with institutional stakeholders to build buy-in and create change. For current PDP users who have experience with basic PDP dashboard navigation.

  • Monday, April 28 at 2 PM, ET  REGISTER NOW
