Get Ready for Real-Time Data and More with StudentTracker 3.0
Rollout of New 3.0 Platform to StudentTracker for High Schools Users Is Underway
The National Student Clearinghouse has begun rolling out access to our new StudentTracker® 3.0 platform to StudentTracker for High Schools users. A major upgrade to our existing high schools service, StudentTracker 3.0 makes it simple for users — high schools, districts, consortiums, and state departments of education — to access and interact with student data and quickly obtain learner insights. The migration of users to StudentTracker 3.0 is expected to continue at least throughout the spring.
“We’re so excited to share StudentTracker 3.0 with our users and the response by users who have been migrated to the new platform has been quite positive. Users appreciate how easy it is to use and find the access to real-time data and the new learner outcomes we added to be especially valuable,” according to Michele Gralak, the Senior Product Manager for StudentTracker 3.0, “We’ve been deliberate in our rollout of StudentTracker 3.0 since it is so different from StudentTracker for High Schools in order to ensure users have time to get acquainted with the new platform.”
What’s in StudentTracker 3.0?
- Real-Time Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): The three key metrics you need to understand your student cohorts’ progress — enrollment, retention and persistence, and graduation — are available in real time via dashboards you can drill into to obtain immediate detailed insights. All postsecondary data are refreshed daily (goodbye, effective dates!).
- Interactive Dashboards & Visualizations: StudentTracker 3.0’s interactive dashboards let you choose the high school cohort for the KPI you want to see. You can use breakdowns and filters to see the outcomes for different combinations of the demographic data elements.
- New Learner Outcomes: StudentTracker 3.0 introduces new learner outcomes to help you understand the trajectory of your students better, including dual enrollment and credentials earned as well as persistence.
- On-Demand Reports: You can generate the revised student-level detail report and the new analysis-ready report whenever you need them and download them directly from StudentTracker 3.0. See our StudentTracker 3.0 FAQs for mapping documents for both reports.
- Convenient In-App Help: StudentTracker 3.0’s in-app help content provides an explanation for each outcome making it easy for you to get your questions answered immediately.
StudentTracker for High Schools users will be notified when access to StudentTracker 3.0 has been activated for their account. Check out our additional information on and helpful resources for StudentTracker 3.0, including the user guide and FAQs.
