The number of students earning undergraduate credentials decreased by almost 100,000 students, the second year of declines after years of gradual increases, according to the new Undergraduate Degree Earners report from the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center.
In the 2020-21 academic year, the total number of undergraduate credential earners increased by 1.1% or 39,000 to 3.7 million graduates, based on the Undergraduate Degree Earners Report, Academic Year 2020-21.
