John Ramsey, Chief Information Security Officer, National Student Clearinghouse
John Ramsey is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the National Student Clearinghouse. He previously served as the CISO for the U.S. House of Representatives. He was selected as one of the top 100 CISOs globally for 2017, and only one of two government CISOs selected. Before the House, John has worked in the IT security field for over 25 years.
Brian Kelly, Director of the Cybersecurity Program, EDUCAUSE
He’s participated on the EDUCAUSE Higher Education Information Security Council (HEISC) since 2009, serving on the Awareness and Training working group before joining the Security Professionals Conference Program Committee in 2015. He is also a member of the Research and Education Networks Information Sharing and Analysis Center (REN-ISAC) community. Brian was previously the Chief Information Security Officer at Quinnipiac University.
Monty McGee, Associate Director, Cyber Readiness Institute
Before joining CRI, Monty led Booz Allen Hamilton’s expert team supporting the Department of Defense Chief Information Security Officer’s cybersecurity engagement with international allies and partners.
Joseph Potchanant, Director, Member Services and Support, Research and Education Networks Information Sharing and Analysis Center (REN-ISAC)
Before joining REN-ISAC, which serves over 650 member institutions within the higher education and research community by promoting cybersecurity operational protections and response, Joseph spent 15 years in various IT Support roles at Indiana University, including five years as the Assistant Manager for the University Information Technology Services Support Center, leading Tier 2 operations.
