In the title, most of our webinars have the service line listed before the focus of the webinar so it’s easy for you to identify what’s relevant to your institution or organization. Research and non-service specific web events, except where noted, are open to anyone interested.

*Transcript Center is based on state-level agreements and is currently open to schools in Wyoming and Tennessee.

Gainful Employment and Financial Value Transparency: Will your institution be ready? (55 minutes)
The 2024 Gainful Employment and Financial Value Transparency Regulations that go into effect on July 1st (with a recently extended reporting deadline of October 1st) are a significant expansion over the 2014 rulemaking. These reporting requirements will impact nearly every institution. In this on-demand webinar, we will cover what the new legislation means for your school, including the reporting expectations and timeline, and how the Clearinghouse is designing a free and easy-to-use service to help with your institution’s compliance. Learn GE/FVT’s 3 Rs: Regulations, Requirements & Reporting (60 minutes)
Join the National Student Clearinghouse as we take a closer look at the Gainful Employment and Financial Value Transparency requirements, including each file submission type, what you need to report, how the data contribute to your programs’ debt-to-earnings and earnings premium measures, and how the Clearinghouse is supporting reporting. You’ll learn about the Clearinghouse’s free and robust solution to help alleviate your institution’s administrative burden at various stages throughout the reporting process, as well as what you can do now to prepare for the impending requirements.

 

DiplomaVerify

DiplomaVerify: Save Hours and Help Graduates (30 minutes)
Do you or your administration receive requests to complete high school diploma verifications from third-party companies? Would it benefit you and your alumni if the Clearinghouse could manage that process on your behalf and complete automated requests instantly for a faster hiring process? Join us to learn about our free DiplomaVerify service. And did we mention no additional work is required on your side to add the service? For secondary institutions interested in DiplomaVerify. DiplomaVerify is not available in KY, NH, or NY at this time.

 

Enrollment Reporting

Missed one of our Enrollment Reporting webinars? Join us for an encore presentation. For anyone who submits scheduled enrollment files or makes online Enrollment Reporting updates to the Clearinghouse, including staff members in the registrar, enrollment services, financial aid, institution compliance, and institutional effectiveness (those who work with title IV student aid compliance) offices of postsecondary institutions.

Enrollment Reporting Part 5: Reporting Separation Statuses (30 minutes)
This webinar covers the importance of reporting separation statuses in a timely manner and the different ways to report them. Also covered will be reporting students who continue enrollment at your institution after completing a program.

Enrollment Reporting Part 6: G from Degree (30 minutes)
Join our presenters as they shed light on the Clearinghouse’s G from Degree process. Learn the difference between the enrollment and degree databases at the Clearinghouse as well as how G from DegreeVerify files are generated. We’ll also review the “Degree Transmission Detail” tabs on the Clearinghouse website, including ways to resolve students flagged on the “G Not Applied” list.

Join the PDP team to talk about the updates to the PDP service that occurred between April and June 2024.

Understanding the Postsecondary Data Partnership Institution-Level Dashboards (90 minutes)
The Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP) is a set of online dashboards that can transform how your institution understands and shares information about student success. These dashboards provide early momentum and outcomes metrics to help stakeholders advance student success and identify equity gaps. This workshop is focused on helping those new to the PDP, or those interested in learning more about the PDP, better navigate these dashboards and use this information to improve student outcomes.

Using the PDP to Understand Academic Momentum: Strategies for Timely College Completion (2 hours)

Our students’ ability to earn sufficient credits per academic year is the primary indicator of timely completion. The Postsecondary Data Partnership dashboards (PDP) provide institutions with the opportunity to analyze metrics that demonstrate student academic load and credit progression. In this workshop, we use the PDP dashboards to examine early momentum metrics to help institutions understand which student populations are accumulating sufficient credits to graduate on time and which populations would benefit from additional support structures.

Using the PDP to Support a Student-Centered Continuous Quality Improvement Plan (2 hours)
Continuous quality improvement (CQI) aims to create measurable improvement in an institution’s efficiency and effectiveness in its operational practices and processes to improve student access, retention, and outcomes. This process is often used in institutional accreditation as evidence of quality processes and in efforts to measure and improve student learning. This workshop provides participants with an understanding of the CQI process, using the PDP to identify a challenge facing a particular student population, constructing an improvement plan, and creating a strategy to share this process and findings with institutional stakeholders to create buy-in and effect change.
